I'm Kaolee. The face behind The Love Stories of a Background Character. I am a Asian American Woman. I am a creative, conversationalist, a tad outdoorsy, lover of food, and a bit of a couch potato. I've been reflecting a lot on life and reading all of the many notes I have once typed into my phone and decided to compile them and continue writing stories of my relationships both romantically, familial, friends, and self-love. This website/blog is a series of reflections, opinions, memories, and stories.

 

I've always felt like a background character. It seemed like my experiences and stories weren't unique maybe they weren't relatable, or that my personality wasn't a standout, or maybe that it was as simple as no one cared. I'm creating this blog eventually all of these blogs will be compiled to be a book of short stories and reflections in hopes that other people can connect to some of my experiences. This is a pursuit of making sense of events in my life.
